The interview process is quick even though there are a few steps. A pre-interview to determine if you're suited for the job. Once you ace that you move on to sending a bunch of documents and you have the actual interview. If this goes well you have more documents to submits and then you receive a letter welcoming you to the team. Last-ish but not least you have to make a selection of positions you're interested in. If you're lucky you get assigned to one and you might have to go through an extra interview with the school. Everyone was grand on each step!

The interview for working with the adult francization public generally lasts between 1h and 1h30. A part is dedicated to talking about yourself and your background, then many situational exercises are given to the future employee. Knowing keywords from the andragogy jargon is an irrefutable advantage, as are the socio-geographic realities of Montreal (the different neighborhoods, etc.).

The hiring process was pretty straightforward, though it did take a while. An administrative agent was assigned to me at the start and stayed with me until my job offer was confirmed. The main parts of my interview were: 1) discussing my teaching practices, 2) my internship experiences, and 3) my future goals for this school service center.
