Inside Sales Representative
I was first emailed for an interview with an HR rep. They gave me a personality test, which wasn't a big deal. The first interview went well, and I was told I'd get a call for a second interview. Within a few days, I got a call to meet with the department head. That second interview also went well, though I thought the manager was a bit arrogant. I later found out others agreed. Days later, I got an email with a job offer and a contract. I read it carefully, and it seemed like a very regimented environment, which is fine for some, but I decided to stay where I was.
- Did you feel this role was a good fit for your skills? Please explain.
Sales Representative
We had a short 15-minute phone call, then an in-person meeting. After that, the onboarding was supposed to start. The in-person part involved meeting both HR and the team I'd be working with.
- Can you tell me about a challenging aspect you've encountered?
Sales Assistant
It was a quick chat, more like a friendly conversation than a formal interview. We talked about the job details, the roster, health and safety, and what's expected. Took about 15 minutes.
- Can you tell me your availability for the summer?
