First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Central Texas Marketing and Management.
Account Executive
I applied for the entry level Account Executive position. This position is not at all what they advertised on the application. It is a 6-8 month long program, and you will only be in the Account Executive position after completing a couple months in sales. Specifically, they want you to sell Direct TV in a grocery store. They did not say a word about this in the job description nor in any of the emails when asking me for an interview. They also did not start by doing a phone interview. They make you drive in from wherever you are to interview for maybe 15 minutes, and do not pay for your gas.
- Can you introduce yourself?
Sales Marketing Representative
The first interview was pretty general. Even though I had to wear professional clothes, it was a chill interview to see if CTMM's vibe and goals were a good fit for what I'm looking for in a company.
- Why are you interested in working for CTMM?
Sales Representative
I had my first interview one day, and then the second one two days later. The first interview was quick and to the point. The second interview was actually at the work site, where I got to see exactly what I'd be doing. After that, I did my background check and got the job offer about a week later!
- What are your 2-5 year career goals?
Account Manager
The interview process was great and consisted of three parts. All my questions were answered clearly and I really appreciated the first and second round interviews. I'd totally recommend this company to friends and family.
