Had two interviews over a month. First one was with HR and some people from the department I'd join. Second interview was with the leaders of the department. They were really friendly and clear the whole time.

I went through a 2-round interview process with an external firm from NYC, which took up 3 hours of my time. The recruitment company conducted a technical interview where I performed very well. However, Central Hudson management later decided I was a better fit for a sys admin role than a network engineer, despite my 10 years of experience with Cisco and Meraki networks. It felt like a waste of time.
