First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Center For Behavioral Health.
Accounting Associate
The interview went okay and they asked the usual stuff. The interviewer mentioned they'd decide within a week and let me know either way. I didn't hear back, though, even after following up with an email.
- What aspects of your previous employment did you find unsatisfactory?
Licensed Practical Nurse
It was a really quick process. Pretty disorganized though. They told me to give my old job two weeks' notice, but then they contacted me and wanted me to start in just a few days. I had a phone interview, and then after that, I did a one-on-one interview. They needed my references before they could make me a job offer.
- Do you have any experience working with individuals who have Mental Health or Substance use Disorder?
Psychiatric Technician
After applying at the CBM location, I was contacted and went through an easy application and interview process with one of the Group Home Directors. It was a professional interview where I could ask about training and job duties. They offer paid training at our new facility. Drug screens and background checks are also required.
- How would you handle a crisis situation?
Counselor
I applied online and then got a phone call to schedule an in-person interview. There were 3 interviews in total with important people: a director, another director from a different location, and the company owner. They all seemed excited about the company and what we do. They were upfront about the heavy workload and paperwork. It took a while, but I got an offer just 4 days after the last interview.
- Would you say you're an optimistic person, seeing the glass as half full, or a pessimistic one, seeing it as half empty?
