Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Centennial Mental Health Center.
Mental Health Professional
I had several phone and Skype interviews with both Administration and Clinical supervisors. Then, I was invited to interview in person and they covered my travel costs. Since the company has several locations, I was interviewed at a few of their offices. They made an offer at the locations that were most in need of staff.
- Could you share your experience with diagnosing mental health conditions?
- Can you list some assessments used for depression and anxiety?
Therapist
So when I got there, they handed me a scenario to look over. They said they'd ask me questions related to it. Then I went into a room with two people there and one person on video. We chatted and they asked me some questions. The vibe was pretty chill.
- Can you describe your various therapy styles?
- What are some of your past experiences?
- How do you maintain professionalism in specific scenarios?
Clinical Therapist
It felt personal. I had two interviews, pretty sure. One on Zoom and another in person. The drug test was in person, but I think they do all remote work these days.
- Can you describe your experience in specific situations?
