First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Cenergy International.
Facilities Engineer
The interview process was pretty straightforward. Since I met the job requirements, they first did a phone screen with me. After that, I had an in-person interview at the client's firm. The client liked me and wanted to hire me, so I ended up getting hired by Cenergy and then seconded to the client.
- Can you describe a situation and provide concrete details to back it up?
Administrator
I had a phone call scheduled with a recruiter for 3pm about an on-site job in Boston. The recruiter called me at 4pm because she was in Canada, where it was 3pm. When I asked about the office location, she said she was looking at a map and it was 'downtown somewhere,' then asked if I could handle the commute. Boston locals know 'downtown' is huge and commuting to different parts of it can be tough. She ended the call by just saying goodbye and hanging up, without mentioning any next steps.
- Can you tell me about your interpersonal communication skills?
Engineer
The process involved a driving record and urine test. After that, there were three weeks of mandatory online training, during which I was repeatedly told my submissions weren't received. I was told I'd be contacted, but I had to initiate all communication, and most of the time, my messages were ignored.
