First, there was a phone selection step with talent acquisition: they asked me to present my background, my strengths and weaknesses, and describe a situation or personal action that was decisive. Then, a full day of face-to-face interviews, with 5 people: 2 from HR, a peer, my future manager (N+1), and their manager (N+2). These were standard interviews where they asked me to present my background and explained the role. It was a dialogue with questions and answers. A professional follow-up after the interviews.

Behavioral Presentation Group

The main interview was a mix of one-on-one meetings, panels, and a seminar. It wasn't super technical, focusing more on culture fit and personality. Some people asked specific things about my seminar presentation. I met with a diverse group of people, including HR and other scientists. We also did a tour. It was pretty standard. The interviewers were friendly and seemed interested in getting to know me, rather than just grilling me. There was a good balance, letting me ask them questions too.

Behavioral Presentation

I met a Senior Director at a conference career fair. A month later, I had a phone interview with the Analytical Development team. Two weeks after that, I went for a full-day on-site interview with several people from the department. I also had to give a 1-hour research presentation. They sent an offer two days after the on-site.
