Behavioral Technical Presentation

I submitted my CV and cover letter directly to the Senior Scientist's email. A few days later, I got a call for a 1-hour phone interview, which was supposed to be 30 minutes but ran long because the interviewer had so many questions! Then, I was offered an in-person interview within the next week. I met with about 5 other people and had to give a 1-hour presentation on my graduate research. I was also quizzed on two research papers related to the company's research, chosen by the interviewer. They asked a lot of questions!!

Behavioral

The on-campus recruiting process involved initial interactions with two recruiters, focusing on personality and fit for different teams. Successful candidates were invited for callback interviews with 3-4 people from a specific group on set dates. However, there was flexibility regarding team preferences. The CEO also personally met with all candidates. Offers were extended within a week after the second round interviews.

The interview was mostly behavioral questions. It was pretty conversational, asking why I was interested in Celgene and about my experience leading a team. Nothing too out of the ordinary.
