First, there was a phone interview, and then an in-person interview at the company HQ. Standard stuff, really... just remember to ask about parking before you head out. The phone interview was about twenty minutes, and the in-person one was around half an hour. I met with my prospective boss and one of the partners.

I met the interviewer at a career expo at CSI. They reached out 8 days later for an interview. The interviewer was friendly and easy to talk to. It was a low-pressure, one-on-one setting, which made me feel comfortable.

I went to a college career event and chatted with a Celerant rep who told me about an entry level position with chances to advance. A few days later, Celerant HR emailed me to complete an application. Part of the application asked questions like, "How do you handle pressure?" and "How do you query the database to find records for first name and last name customer?" About two days after that, I scheduled an on-site interview. The on-site was quick: a short quiz and a chat with the manager in California. I took a 10-question test, then did a teleconference with the manager. Lastly, they asked if I'd take $35,000 a year. The whole thing took about 15-20 minutes.

I saw the job on the internet and sent my application. HR called me 3 days later and we scheduled an in-person interview with the Software Support Managers. HR didn't ask me anything on the phone, just to set up a time. Then I got an email with the interview details and had to confirm it. The interview was the day after that. It was pretty easy. The managers met me all at once. They told me about the job and their team first. Then they asked me to tell them about myself.
