The interview process was surprisingly quick. A recruiter reached out and scheduled an interview date/time promptly. She was very pleasant and professional. Although I have software development skills and hoped to do some of that, the interview involved a Skype call with about four people. I was asked to introduce myself in both English and Spanish, as fluency in Spanish was required. They asked some basic SQL questions, like what primary and foreign keys are. The interview itself went well. I was initially told I'd hear back in about two weeks, but the recruiter called the next day with an offer. She described the role, which seemed to involve minimal software writing and was more of a technical support position. Overall, the experience was positive, and the company seems stable and successful. It might be a good place for someone looking to join a growing company, but for me, passion for the work is more important than money, and this role didn't ignite that passion.

Initially, an external recruiter reached out about the role. Then I spoke with an internal recruiter and answered some general questions about my background, the tech stack, and what I was looking for. After that, I had a phone screen with a technical person. Following that, I was invited for a face-to-face interview. It was a pretty lengthy blackboard session, lasting around 4 hours, with a lot of technical questions on programming languages and technologies. Most of the time, I had to quickly code algorithm implementations. I also discussed my past experience and projects. The overall interview and hiring process felt professional.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • I wasn't expecting questions about LINQ.
  • Also, the questions about SQL needed a solid understanding.
