Senior Director of Sales and Marketing
I had an interview with this company and they were super friendly and really proud of their company. They even gave me a tour of the place.
- Could you explain the significance of this role to your team?
Director of HR Operations
Applied online. Later, got an email from the Legal Counsel to schedule an in-person interview. I went onsite for a 90-minute interview. After the interview, I sent follow-up emails but never got a response. It was a poor candidate experience overall. My advice: don't ghost candidates, give feedback, do a phone screen to confirm salary expectations, and don't waste people's time without any follow-up. It's unprofessional.
- Can you describe your experience in HR?
Resident Assistant
The interview process is pretty straightforward. They ask the typical interview questions.
- Can you tell us why we should hire you?
- What are your strengths and weaknesses?
Marketing Strategist
Applied online, had a recruiter call and then a virtual chat with the hiring manager who basically said they hoped I wouldn't accept another offer. Two weeks later, I had an onsite interview. The VP of Sales & Marketing asked me to do a presentation for a real business initiative, not a mock one. I was given a detailed prompt and needed to create a 10-15 slide pitch deck by a deadline. I submitted it on time, but since then I've been ghosted. The recruiter and hiring manager are unresponsive. I applied in late June and it's now late August.
