First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at CDNetworks.
Sales Representative
Three rounds of interviews happened, with HR, the country manager, and the technical team. It was pretty straightforward. HR got back to me quickly and was clear about the process and what was next. The country manager had the final say on hiring.
- What is your understanding of CDN?
Customer Success Manager
I should have read the reviews before interviewing here. This company was incredibly unprofessional, wasting my time and making me feel sorry for them. They were repeatedly late for interviews, and on one occasion, I was completely forgotten about at reception. I interviewed for a specific role and made it clear I wasn't interested in sales. Despite this, after agreeing on the role, I received an offer for a sales position. When I declined, I was criticized for not being flexible or having a positive attitude. Two weeks of calls, preparation, and interviews were wasted. Apparently, the company was being taken over by a Chinese group, and the staff seemed demoralized, which might explain the lack of professionalism and honesty. This felt like desperation due to high turnover caused by a terrible work environment. Avoid this company.
- Can you tell me what you know about our company?
Marketing Analyst
The entire hiring process spanned almost 3 months. It involved 3 main interview rounds: 2 with HR and 1 with the Country Manager. Additionally, I had to participate in 2 company events as part of the evaluation. They were quite slow in making a decision, constantly saying they needed more time, which felt like they were searching for a better candidate while keeping me as a backup. This prolonged waiting period and eventual rejection is quite disheartening. If you're considering CDNetworks in Singapore, be prepared for a lengthy process that might ultimately lead to a rejection.
- What are your usual interview questions?
Systems Engineer
First part was a Skype interview with a manager. Then a second Skype interview with someone higher up a few days later. Both interviews tried to grasp your personality and experiences, but largely non-technical. Both interviews are similar but the second interview will go more in-depth with your resume to see if you match the job. An on-site semi technical interview with your future coworkers comes next, but I did not get that far.
