The process began with an initial call from HR to confirm my continued interest. This was followed by an interview with the director and their assistant, and then a final HR meeting concerning compensation. The entire process, from submitting my CV, took about a month and a half. Throughout, everyone was very pleasant, and the process was straightforward with no surprises.

The interview experience was very unpleasant. The hiring manager gave me a very cold welcome. Throughout the interview, the hiring manager didn't ask any questions; it was the HR representative who seemed to show at least some interest in my background and motivations. I didn't understand the hiring manager's attitude. Additionally, the job posting wasn't clear at all; I had to guess information that wasn't provided. When they asked me what I understood about the role, these two individuals laughed at me dismissively and mockingly. I was so surprised by their behavior that I couldn't respond effectively. It was destabilizing and awkward. I had idealized CDC Habitat, and I was very disappointed! In the end, you form ideas about a company, but the people there can be malicious.

Overall, the interviews (always in person) went well with a kind atmosphere. However, the recruitment process was long (3 months, with 1 interview per month). And it is unacceptable to receive a simple automatic email of rejection after 3 months of interviews and 3 in-person interviews. No phone call, no explanation, nothing. It is clear that there is no consideration for the people interviewed.
