First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at CCC Intelligent Solutions.
Senior Software Engineer
The interview process was nice and the people were warm and knowledgeable. It started with an aptitude test, followed by 3 rounds of technical interviews. I also had to complete a project on Web API 3.1 and was sent a problem-solving question via Dropbox. I was supposed to have a round with the Hiring Manager, but it never happened. I interviewed with a Senior Software Engineer, then an Architect, and finally a Junior Developer. The recruiter was good too, but in the end, I felt they were just looking for a reason to reject me. When I asked about the next steps, the recruiter said the hiring manager wanted one more person for comparison as I was the first candidate for this new role. After that, I never heard back. It took over 3 weeks, raising my hopes, and then nothing. I wish they would be more transparent and inform candidates if they are not suitable, rather than leaving them hanging or expecting feedback.

Software Engineer
First, the recruiting officer called and asked me basic questions like the difference between class & object, MVC architecture, and sequence diagram. The onsite interview questions were: Explain any algorithm, difference between overloading & overriding, final, finally(), finalize, wrapper classes, explain project, explain cloud, .equals and ==, multithreading, write program for Fibonacci series, and EJB. For Java test, very basic SCJP questions were asked.
- Could you explain the difference between a class and an object?
- Can you describe MVC architecture?
- Tell me about sequence diagrams.
Software Engineer
I had an initial chat with HR over the phone, and then they invited me for an onsite interview which consisted of five rounds. They didn't ask a lot of technical questions. Mostly, they asked about my past experience. I had a really good experience with four out of the five hiring managers, though one of them was quite arrogant. Overall, the interview process was well organized.
- Can you describe your previous work experience?
