I applied on the website, and about one to two weeks later, a recruiter called me for a 20-minute phone interview. She mentioned that the district manager would contact me next to set up an in-person interview. I heard back the following day, and we scheduled the interview at one of the store locations. My prior experience at an At&t corporate store was helpful because I understood their expectations. The interviewer asked basic questions and outlined what they were looking for. She then brought in the store manager, who shared his rapid career progression within the company. There's definitely potential for advancement since the company is expanding quickly.

They threw some challenging questions at me to see how I'd react, trying to get me a bit flustered. If they liked my responses, we then did a role-play of a customer interaction. I think they did a great job setting realistic expectations about the role during the interview.

There were two rounds of interviews, first with the corporate trainer and then with the area leader. Both interviews took place in the back rooms of the store, but they made it feel comfortable. After that, you were sent to training and had to get your own background check. If you passed the background check, you continued with the training.

It started out great. The recruiter had a good chat and seemed keen to move forward based on our conversation and my background. Then I had a Zoom interview with a sales VP, which also seemed to go really well. They said they'd follow up the next week, but then I got ghosted by everyone. I've tried reaching out a few times to see where things stand, but haven't heard anything back, not even to know if I'm still in the running. It's super frustrating because I was really hoping to land this job.
