The interview process was pretty straightforward. It took place right there at the coffee shop. They even give you a free drink to taste while they interview you. The questions they asked were pretty standard.

It was a pretty straightforward interview. They asked simple questions about handling customer service, like what to do if you saw theft or how to deal with unhappy guests. They also asked about a time I went above and beyond for a customer. They're looking for friendly, not overly assertive answers. Even though I had Starbucks experience, they still put me through their training program to learn their specific way of doing things, so prior experience isn't strictly necessary; they focus on attitude.
