Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Cboe.
Intern
The first round was with the hiring manager, and the second round involved two interviews with a supervisor and an analyst. Both of these interviews included behavioral and some straightforward technical questions. Everyone was really friendly and asked a lot of follow-up questions about my previous projects.
- Can you explain the difference between WHERE and HAVING clauses in SQL?
Intern
The interview was pretty easy and everyone was friendly. We started with a round that covered both behavioral and technical topics. Then, there was a relaxed final interview with the hiring manager. The whole thing was pretty fast, wrapping up in less than a month.
- Could you tell me what you know about Cboe?
- Could you explain what an index is?
- Tell me about your experiences.
Intern
The interview process was good and the team was extremely nice. However, the hiring manager's communication could be improved. Cboe is an amazing company and I would love to work there.
