First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at CBEM.
Senior Accountant
There were 3 rounds total. Started with a phone screening, then 2 more rounds. The second round was technical, and they asked technical questions only. The third round could be onsite or online.
- What are your work style and work culture preferences?
Stabilization Specialist
First round was a 30 minute phone call to see if I was even eligible. The phone screener was really helpful and gave me tips on how to get to the next round. After that, there was an in person interview with two people from the team. They asked me about my knowledge in the field and gave me some scenarios to see how I'd respond and handle the job. If I was chosen, there was a final interview after that.
- Can you define BST?
- How do you apply BST to your current work?
Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Specialist
My first step was a phone screen where we discussed everything, and it went well. I was asked all the questions and answered them. They gave me a lot of info about the job, which sounded good. Then I got an email to take a test, which I did. After that, I was sent another email to schedule an interview with the hiring manager and HR. I set it up. When it was time for the interview, the HR office had to reschedule for the next week, which was fine with me. I was ready for the interview, but when I logged in, there was another cancellation notice. This one said they were waiting for another candidate to accept a job offer, and since they did, they were canceling our interview. It felt like they used me and then dismissed me. This was really bad behavior from a company. They could have handled it differently. I was dressed and ready for an interview, only to be told I didn't get the job because someone else accepted. They still kept me waiting even after making an offer to someone else. I'll never forget how insensitive they were. Why make someone think they had a chance when you were already going with someone else?
- Can you share your experience?
Crisis Interventionist
I had two interviews via Zoom, each lasting between 30 minutes and an hour. Both interviews had two interviewers and followed a similar format. The questions were pretty direct, mostly focused on my experience and how I've handled or would handle crisis situations. They were quick to share the interview results.
- Tell me about your experience responding to specific crisis scenarios.
- How have you handled crisis situations before, and how would you approach them?
- Describe your past experiences in crisis intervention.
