Program Manager
It was a really positive experience. They managed it professionally and seemed to have a clear idea of what they were looking for in a candidate. They took the time to understand my background and see if it was a good fit for the role and the company culture.
- Can you describe a difficult situation you faced and how you dealt with it?
Community Worker
Had an initial phone chat with the program manager that went pretty well. It was about 30 minutes long and they asked about my interest in the role and what I'm up to now. Then I was invited to a group interview with the program manager and two other team members. They each asked questions about my interest in the agency, how my experience aligns with the job, and my experience with the people we serve. It felt like a really positive vibe and you could tell they were all super passionate about what they do.
- Are you interested in this role?
- What is your current occupation?
- Why are you interested in this agency?
Client Care Specialist
I reached out to them via email and got a callback for an interview with two people. They were very welcoming and friendly. The first interview went really well, and they invited me back for a second one. In the second interview, more specific questions came up, including some scenario-based ones. They were very engaged and receptive throughout the process, which made me feel supported and comfortable.
- Describe your preferred management style.
- Are you able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously?
- What are your career aspirations for the next five years?
Community Relations Manager
I emailed the hiring manager with my resume and a note about why I'm a good fit. The division director emailed me back pretty quickly to set up an interview. During the interview, they asked me about the agency and the specific program. I was also asked why I wanted to work in this field. It was about an hour long. They said the program manager would call me, but HR actually called with the job offer instead.
- What is your understanding of the program you're applying for?
- Can you tell me why you're interested in this type of work?
- Why do you think you are the most suitable candidate for this position?
