Interviewed for a remote Architect position. It was full of open-ended questions. The interviewer wasn't open to discussing other companies' processes, focusing solely on their own company's approach. No technical questions were asked; they seemed to evaluate candidates based on their company's specific procedures, which I believe should be more adaptable to different company processes.

Behavioral Technical Coding System Design Presentation

This was one of the best interview experiences I've had. Catchpoint was super fast, moving quicker than all my other interviews within a week, and I got an offer two weeks after the first call. It kicked off with a standard recruiter call about my background and interests. Then there were 5 interviews: Hiring Manager, two Software Engineers, Architect, VP of Engineering, and the Co-Founder. The Architect and engineer interviews were the technical ones. The questions were practical, focusing on discussing design approaches rather than arbitrary algorithm puzzles. They also asked about data structures, runtimes, OOP, and design patterns, which felt very relevant to the job. Everyone I spoke with from top to bottom was pleasant, making the process feel more personal and focused on getting to know me, not just my skills. It gave me a lot of confidence in the company culture and values.
