First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Catalyst Solutions.
Software Development Engineer
The interview was 45 minutes long and we went through my whole resume. The interviewers were helpful and gave hints when I got stuck. They asked basic questions about my projects and internships, and general questions about Reactjs, Nodejs, MongoDB, and cloud technologies.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- What is your greatest weakness?
- Could you tell me about your internship experience?
Data Artist
The interview process was informative and enjoyable. It was not overly complicated and the instructions were to the point. The questions were fair and I was able to demonstrate my skills.
- Questions about MS Excel.
- Questions about Powerpoint.
Engagement Manager
I was recruited by a Catalyst Solutions representative on Linkedin. The first interview was a screening with a solutions delivery specialist. Then, I had a second joint interview with a manager and an engagement consultant. The last, final interview was with a senior manager. I think the interviews went well, but I never heard back from Catalyst Solutions, so I assume I didn't get the job. It's disappointing that a consulting firm like Catalyst Solutions didn't take the time to send an email about the outcome, which is the professional thing to do. I've heard from colleagues that Catalyst Solutions and other consulting firms sometimes use interviews for fake positions to gather information about competitors, innovation, and industry trends.
- What are the main challenges Health Plans are currently dealing with?
Analyst
I had an interview with the recruiter leader. They asked good questions and were friendly and engaging, but I took another role because of my home situation. I needed a new job quickly, and their client took a long time to interview me. They were quick to schedule and communicated often, which doesn't happen with recruiting firms. I would recommend them.
- Were there technical questions related to your profession or analyst experience?
