Behavioral Technical

The interview process involved several discussions. It started with a good initial chat that felt right and professional. But, the later interviews felt less planned and more like arguments than checks. Some questions were asked in a way that seemed to want to catch me out, rather than understand my skills, experience, and if I'd fit in. While tough questions are expected in sales, the way they were asked felt more like trying to trick me than work with me. Maybe the leaders and hiring managers need to be on the same page about what they're looking for, because the interviewers didn't all seem to have the same idea.

Started with a recruiter call, then got a take-home project with a week deadline. It was a WPF Application with 6-7 tasks. I finished it in 4-5 days and even made a video of the project flow and documentation explaining my approach. It felt like a waste of time as I was rejected without explanation. Be careful and ask what they expect from the project beforehand to avoid wasting your time and energy. Very poor process!

Confirmed questions1 question
  • They sent a WPF application project to finish in a week. If you're familiar with commands, it can be done in 3 days, otherwise, it might take up to 5 days while working full-time. You might find similar projects on public GitHub repos.
