First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Cascade Designs, Inc..
Copywriter
Started with a quick call from the recruiter, then I had to go in for interviews with the people on the team. It was weird though, half the time it felt like they were dodging questions about their boss. Just felt kinda unnatural.
- Can you tell me about a time you had a tough time with a coworker?
IT Operations Manager
I was interviewed by the CIO. We had been colleagues in the JD Edwards consulting space for a number of years at different companies. We had crossed paths at a few different clients. While both participating in the JDE Pacific NW Users group, I was asked if I knew of anyone looking to make an employment change. I replied, I did not. About a week later I emailed the CIO and asked if he would consider me for the position. We had lunch and discussed the open position he was looking to fill. I considered the possibility for about a week and then called the CIO back and accepted his offer of employment.
- Would you be able to travel occasionally?
Engineering Technician
I put my application in online and then heard back about two weeks later for an interview. The interview was with the two hiring managers for the job. They were super nice. I felt like I wasn't the right fit about halfway through, but they were really cool about it the whole time. They mentioned they'd let me know if they needed any more interviews, but I never heard back.
- Can you share an instance where you had to decide between two significant matters?
