I had a phone interview first with someone from HR, it was pretty short, like 10 minutes. Then the last step was a panel interview with two nurses from the leadership team, and that took about 20 minutes.

We started with a casual phone chat to narrow down 75 applicants for our RN program for new grads. Then, we picked 30 for an in-person interview, and finally, we chose 10 to be part of the program.

I applied online and they called me to set up an in-person interview. I got there a bit early and the receptionist told me to sit down. While I was waiting, I saw someone who I think was a nurse or HR person give the receptionist the finger and then they apologized when they saw me. The interviewers, two RNs, were late and seemed disorganized. When I started to tell them about myself, they cut me off and asked if I had CNA experience. It seemed like they hadn't read my application beforehand and were looking through it during the interview. I turned down the job offer.

I was supposed to have an in-person interview, but when I called to set it up, they ended up interviewing me right then over the phone. It was a little unexpected, but I did my best to stay calm and answer everything as well as I could.
