First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Cartridge World.
Internship
I applied for the internship online. After they selected my application, they invited me for an interview. We scheduled a time, and they called me. Following the interview, they confirmed my acceptance.
- Do you know about elearning?
Systems Administrator
It kicked off with an unexpected call from a manager, who had been connected to me by a recruiter without prior notice. It turned out to be a good opportunity since I was looking. After the initial phone screen, I had a one-on-one meeting in person. I really liked the manager and some of the other people I met there. Then, they made an offer, and I just had to finalize the paperwork.
- My technical skills were discussed.
- My soft skills were discussed.
Outside Sales
So the interview process was like this: first a phone screening, then I interviewed with the franchise owner. After that, I had another interview with the staff. Then a few days later, they called me with a job offer.
- How often do you shower weekly?
Ink Technician
I found this job on Craigslist, which was surprising! My first interview was formal with the owner and Sales Manager at a branch. I wore a suit and tie, which was a good move. The owner seemed professional and soft-spoken, but the Sales Manager, who had more business experience, led most of the interview. Turns out the owner was an engineer who started this franchise as his first business.
- Tell me about your work ethic.
- In a customer service situation, what would you do?
- Describe your experience with technical aspects of working with tools and hardware.
