First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Carter's.
Sales Associate
The interview went well, and they were understanding when I had an emergency. The manager messaged me on Saturday the 24th, just about 48 hours after following up. A Carter's person called on Friday the 23rd to finalize the medical file. My interview was on Thursday, so it was a little over 24 hours. I was being considered for two weeks and got the message today that I wasn't selected. I'm not sure why.
- What makes you want to work at this company?
Sales Associate
We had a quick video call over Zoom for the first interview, and then the hiring process went really fast. After the initial call, all I had to do was complete the background consent form, and they said they'd schedule me right away.
- Can you introduce yourself and explain your interest in this role?
Sales Associate
I applied online and then was invited in for an interview. After that, there was a background check, and then an offer was extended. I didn't have much retail experience, but it didn't seem to matter. They seemed more concerned with my ability to get along with others and my willingness to learn rather than my previous experience. It was also helpful that I knew the company values and they aligned with my own.
- Describe how you manage in a fast-paced setting.
