I applied for a job in June and spoke with an HR rep who told me the job I applied for wasn't a good fit but gave me advice on how to improve myself and suggested I check out the Account Coordinator role. In October, Carter's contacted me because the same HR rep suggested me for an open Account Coordinator position. I had two in-person interviews that were 2.5 hours each, with 3-4 people each time, one week apart. After not hearing back for over a month and a half, I followed up. Their hiring process takes at least 3 months on average, but following up helped move things along. I had to submit 3 personal references and got my offer the same day. They also send a gift with the offer packet.

I sent in my application online and got a call a few days later from a recruiter who wanted to chat about my background. Jacqueline called me exactly when she said she would. We had a nice talk, and even though I thought my experience was a good fit for the job, I didn't move on in the process. I really wanted to because Carter's was my top choice. My family was pretty excited about me possibly getting a job there. But it just wasn't meant to be. Still, it's a good company, and my chat with Jacqueline was great.

I applied online and got a call from a recruiter to set up a phone call. After that, I had 2 or 3 more phone calls with different people, which all went well. Then, I was invited to the corporate office for 2 panel interviews. Everyone I met was really nice and worked with my schedule. The panel interviews felt a bit much for this job, more like a personality test than a skills assessment. They mostly asked about my personality and how I handle conflict, not my experience. I sent thank you notes after the final interviews but didn't hear back. I tried reaching out to everyone but got no response. About 3 months later, I got an automated email saying the job was filled. I thought this was unprofessional since I made it to the final round and deserved an answer sooner. A while later, I got a better job at a similar company. It's probably a great company, but their hiring process needs improvement in consistency and professionalism.
