You will be interviewed by a bunch of people. For me, I had 5 interviews on 5 different days. It took me a month to get hired. It was worth it though.

Behavioral Technical Case

So I applied online and then a recruiter hit me up less than a week later. Had a 30-minute chat with the supervisor about my background, challenges, and why I'm into Carta. Then another recruiter hit me up to keep going. A week after that, I had three 30-minute interviews with people on the Support Team. Two were pretty much the same old background, challenges, etc., but one was a demo of an online support scenario. The next day, the recruiter called about salary and wanted 2 references. One of my references couldn't vouch for me because of confidentiality, so Carta made me interview with one more person. This last one was also about background, challenges, and my customer service views. After that, I didn't hear anything for 2 days, so I emailed them. Turns out the job's focus shifted and I wasn't a fit anymore.

The interview process was quite smooth. After submitting my application, I got a request for a phone screening with the hiring manager. That call went well and was mostly informational. Next, I got a written assessment that was pretty simple, just needing a bit of research on Carta and their services. Finally, I had a panel interview with four people, including the hiring manager, some peers, and management. Everyone on the panel was easy to talk to and seemed keen on getting to know me as a person.
