I went through three interviews total. First, I chatted with a recruiter. Then, I had two calls with management. The whole thing was pretty straightforward. They also had me take a personality test and answer some client situation questions.

The Chief of Talent contacted me on LinkedIn about the position. We set up a phone interview for the following week. After our initial chat, it seemed like a good opportunity; she discussed the company's expansion and the responsibilities of this role. I was selected for the next stage, which involved speaking with a colleague who would report directly to this role. We spoke a week later, and she gave me a strange feeling about the company. She couldn't answer many questions because she had only been with the company for six months. The final step was supposed to be meeting the CEO and another senior partner.

After applying months ago, I got a call for a phone interview with talent acquisition. Then came the first on-site interview. I tried to set up a time for it, but the person seemed confused by email even though I told them my availability multiple times and left a voicemail. Carson also wouldn't do a virtual interview, and since I have a full-time job and their office is in a high-traffic area, they seemed to have trouble matching my schedule. The HR person mentioned there are usually 2-3 on-site interviews. I asked about virtual because of the traffic. When I finally went to the on-site interview, I was stuck in traffic for an hour and a half, which is much longer than my usual 20-30 minute commute. I had to email talent acquisition to find out if I was still being considered. They wasted a lot of my time, and the role is still open. I received a generic email saying I wasn't considered, with no feedback.

The interview process started with a phone call from the recruiter. Then, I had an in-person interview. I wasn't a fan of how it went down. I gave the recruiter my availability, but she scheduled me at a time I couldn't make it. When I finally went in person, I had to use PTO and sat in traffic forever. The commute was the worst ever. They wouldn't do a virtual interview.
