I wanted to stay in the auto industry so I signed up for a timeslot online for the CarSense Job Fair in Princeton, NJ. A few days later, Matt Taylor, a really energetic manager, called me to talk about the company and jobs, and confirm my interview. On the interview day, the people at the sign-in table were super nice. Matt Taylor then introduced me to Patrick Solliday, another energetic GSM. Matt and Patrick interviewed me. They were informative and paid attention, which helped me relax. After the great phone call and interview, I felt like I'd fit in well at CarSense, and was so happy when Patrick offered me the job right then and there.

It was a recruitment day where I got an introduction to how car shop operates. There were 2 exercises, one of which was a sales pitch for gardx. The day felt quite rushed and there wasn't any 1-on-1 time with the interviewers, it was all group activities.

Had 5 interviews, each with one of the managers. It was pretty casual but also time consuming. Honestly, it was lower pressure than I expected for a car dealership position. First, I met with the GM and GSM, then the Sales Manager, and after that the finance manager. Lastly, I chatted with a random sales associate to see how I mingle.
