Applied online, got a recruiter call a week later. Then had a face-to-face interview with my manager and two coworkers. A week after that, met with two directors and the VP of Operations. All one-on-one, which was repetitive. Interviews were friendly, and I liked the job and company. Questions focused on management style/personality, not technical skills. Recruiter called a week later to say they chose someone with more experience. They said they liked me and would keep me in mind. They did contact me a few months later for another position, but I wasn't selected after 7 interviews with 7 different people in the department, which felt like a waste of time.

Technical Behavioral

The interview process was broken into different segments focusing on technical skills, communication, and problem-solving. A notable and rather unprofessional aspect was overhearing interviewers discussing previous candidates outside the room just before the next interviewer entered. This practice of sharing candidate feedback during the interview process is poor as it can introduce bias; if such debriefs are necessary, they should happen discreetly and away from candidate earshot.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • The interviewer presented a "release build problem" scenario, drawing it on a whiteboard and asking for my approach without clarifying whether it was a test of technical ability, communication skills, organizational skills, or problem-solving aptitude.

Behavioral Technical

This was one of the worst interview experiences I've ever had. I spent about 10 hours total interviewing. It's been two months since what I thought was the final interview, and I still don't know if I got the job. The process was really bad, with awful communication. They should be embarrassed for wasting so much of my time. I feel bad for whoever ends up taking this job.
