I applied online but never heard back, so I called HR. They said they didn't get my application because of IT issues and since I applied for two positions, it didn't process. So I applied in person. I had an interview with the CNO, then a more casual interview/meet & greet with the CNO and Medical director. It was a pleasant experience overall.

The hiring process begins with a phone interview after you apply online. It's pretty straightforward and low-stress. Then, you'll have an in-person interview and need to bring some documents to HR. After you get a job offer, they'll schedule a physical and health screening, some skills assessments, and get all the paperwork done.

I first spoke with the HR Resource Manager for about 35 minutes. She was really nice and made me feel comfortable right away. After she asked me 5 standard interview questions (about my assets, skills, handling difficult situations, using resources, and weaknesses), she then took me to the Telemetry Unit to meet the nurse manager. The nurse manager asked me more about my background and experience for this job, my availability, and the hours I was seeking. She mentioned she'd be in touch, and about a week later, I got a job offer. The whole thing was a pleasant experience.

It was a simple and sweet process. Just bring your resume and cover letter, and dress formally. You'll introduce yourself and then be seated. They'll ask you to talk about yourself, which leads into other questions. Be patient and understanding, and don't hesitate to ask questions if you need to.
