First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Carollo Engineers.
Intern
It was a good interview process overall. There were four interviewers, each from a different department, and they all asked good questions related to their specific areas. The pace and structure were never overwhelming, which made the experience nice and engaging. I liked how organized and professional it felt, and it was a good chance to talk to different team members and learn about different parts of the company.
- Can you tell me about your resume?
- What are the acid properties for DBMS?
Programmer Analyst
The interview process was pretty simple and straightforward. If you really know your stuff and are honest, you'll do great. The interviewers were really nice and friendly. It was a no-pressure situation for me, I just had to talk about what I know and what I've done.
- When tuning a PID controller, do you utilize auto-tune functionality?
Environmental Engineer
I got into the company via an employee referral. About two weeks after applying, an engineer reached out for a quick screening call. After some back and forth, we set up an online interview with that engineer and a supervisor. Then, about two weeks later, I was invited to the office for an onsite interview. I met 7 people there, including two senior folks, and they showed me around the office. Everyone was really nice and welcoming. They mentioned they might not have enough work for me right away, so they decided to move on.
- What was your main area of interest?
- Can you tell me about a project from your resume?
- Did you have any design experience related to that project?
Water/Wastewater Engineer
It was a 30-minute interview, and the interviewers were really friendly. Overall, it was a great experience, but they later informed me that the position had been filled and they wouldn't be hiring anyone. They did mention referring my resume to other departments, but nothing came of it.
- Could you elaborate on your resume?
- Can you tell me more about your educational background?
