First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Carmichael Lynch.
Assistant Account Executive
The interview was easy and friendly. Basic interview questions. It was 2 hours with 4 different people. But then they ghosted me and I never heard from them again. Kind of unprofessional if you ask me.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
Account Coordinator
I went through three virtual interviews, followed by a phone interview. There was also a writing test and an in-person meeting with some of the leadership team. The whole process was pretty straightforward, and I found that having past internship experience to talk about really helped.
- Can you discuss your prior experience working in an agency setting?
Intern
The process at first started great. I came in for an interview quickly after my writing exam, and though my meetings went well. Sent out thank you's same day. I NEVER HEARD BACK. Not even an email, phone call--I would have appreciated even a generic HR "position has been closed" email at that point. I sent follow-up emails asking for feedback, and all of my attempts at communication were ignored. I don't know why anyone would want to work for a company with a lack of decency for their applicants. I truly can say this is an awful company I feel sorry for the employees currently working there. For a PR company (whose specialization should be communication)... you have a lot of work to do.
- Tell me about yourself in three words.
Account Executive
The interview experience was great, with nice people and really cool offices. It seemed like people genuinely enjoy working there, and their client list is impressive. That's mostly what I recall about the interview process; I don't have anything else to add.
- Tell me about something you are passionate about.
