Teaching Assistant
Chat with the prof for 5 minutes. Then had another meeting with the prof for round two. Then met with the prof again for round three.
- Any prior experience as a teaching assistant?
Peer Leader
Two interviewers met with me and reviewed my resume and cover letter. The questions were pretty standard, like asking about my interest in the role. Nothing tricky came up. We had the interview over Zoom, and it felt really informal and relaxed.
- What motivates your interest in this specific role?
- Can you share an instance where you exhibited leadership qualities?
Annual Fund
I applied for a job on the annual giving team and got a response about a week later to set up a phone interview. The director of the team interviewed me. It went okay, but we didn't really click. It was very formal, with them asking me questions and me answering. Not much small talk. They said I'd hear back within a month, but I never did.
- Can you tell me about your experience?
- What makes you interested in this position?
Admissions Counselor
I had several group interviews with team members, and then some one-on-one interviews with people higher up. It was pretty relaxed and everyone was really nice. I liked that they included a lot of the support staff I'd be working with.
- Can you describe your own experience applying to college?
