Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at CarGurus.
Sales Development Representative
Everyone was super positive, from the HR Director to the Sales Reps. They didn't ask any weird questions, and I never had to chase them for feedback. It was really fast too. Another candidate with more experience got the job, but that's how it goes.

- What makes you the best candidate for this role?
Sales Development Representative
It was pretty straightforward. I got a call on Friday to schedule a phone interview, which happened on Tuesday. Then, I had an in-person interview on Thursday with three managers, and I actually got the offer the very same day. The whole process was great, really relaxed and comfortable, and everyone was super nice and positive. I took the offer and I'm really enjoying the job!

Sales Development Representative
It was 7 rounds, each about 30 minutes online. The interviews felt pretty good and relaxed. They asked about my past experience and some questions about handling objections and KPIs. I got the sense they really cared about finding someone who fit the culture.
