Accountant
The interview process was conducted over Google Chat. The Finance Director asked professional questions, which was great. However, the HR Director seemed more interested in politics and assessing if the candidate would try to gain favour with her, which was not so great.
- How would you handle encountering colleagues who are negative and misuse their authority?
Trainee
I applied for a Data & Analytics position in Indirect Procurement development team. There was a short presentation assignment to do before the interview. I only had one round, a 45 minute talk with the line manager and counterpart. They were really nice and supportive. After the interview, I had to submit my transcript/records and reference.
- Can you explain the transformation from data to information?
- What is your understanding of our company?
- Why should we choose you for this position?
IT Architect
The hiring process was quite long, lasting about 2.5 to 3 months. I received an interview invitation approximately 2.5 months after submitting my application. The interview itself was alright, nothing particularly special or challenging, mainly covering background information and details about the role. At the end, they mentioned they would be contacting a few successful candidates very soon because the position is urgent (which was a bit amusing given how long the process took). I was informed that candidates who reached the final stage would undergo a psychological assessment, which typically takes a full day, stating it's an 'HR requirement,' which felt more like an excuse. To me, this is a negative indicator, suggesting the company prioritizes finding a 'suitable personality' over qualifications, making it perhaps not the best environment for IT professionals.
- Can you tell me about your background?
Accounts Payable Intern
The whole process from applying to getting an offer took about 3 weeks. First, I had a quick chat with HR about the job details. Then, I interviewed with the managers. I didn't get an offer for the first position, but they offered me a different one that they thought would be a better fit, and I got the job.
- Could you explain the distinction between accounts receivable and accounts payable?
