Customer Service Representative
So I did this interview process with Carfax Canada, and honestly, it was a LOT. It was supposed to be just a few interviews but it turned into this super long, stressful day. First, there was a 30-minute phone chat, then a 30-minute meeting with the Hiring Manager, another 30-minute one with the Quality Manager, and then another 30-minute one with the Dealer Manager. After that, I had yet another interview with some other Manager, and then finally, one last meeting with the Hiring Manager again. So yeah, basically five or six interviews all crammed into one day. It was totally draining. Even after all that, they didn't end up offering me the job, which was pretty disappointing considering how much time and energy I put into it.

Many interviews make light work I think haha. I love that Carfax brought many people into the interview process, it truly felt like the team was deciding who to add, not just the higher ups. Loved my recruiter as well, she explained the process every time we were on the phone, and kept good contact with me. I put "Difficult" as the interview difficulty because of the amount of interviews. I had to continue to meet new people and connect. I loved the challenge, but it definitely was a journey from the first phone call to getting an offer!
- Why are you looking to switch jobs and what drew you to CARFAX?
- Tell me about what interests you regarding CARFAX.
Customer Support Specialist
The interview process lasted about three weeks. The recruiter was friendly and kept in touch. It included one phone interview and three video interviews. I felt qualified and was very enthusiastic. I had to follow up to find out they chose another candidate.
- Tell me about a time you had to handle an upset customer.
