First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Carewise Health.
Administrative Support
I interviewed with 2 supervisors who asked about my experience and how it would relate to the position. They also asked about Carewise policies and procedures and the skill set they are looking for to fill the position. They explained the Anthem culture and the people that I would be supporting in this position.
- What skills do you possess that are applicable to this role?
- What unique contributions can you make to this position?
- What makes you believe you are a strong fit for this role?
Clinical Administrative Support Representative
The interview was very chill and informal. I got hired after working for 60 days as a temp, based on my performance. I filled out a paper application. The department supervisor interviewed me. HR offered me a salary, but it was low and they wouldn't negotiate. I had to do a drug test at a separate medical lab. They also did a background check. The department supervisor confirmed the job offer. I could get benefits after 30 days.
- Tell me about a time you failed to achieve something.
Project Manager
I had an initial phone call with a recruiter to see if I was a good fit and then a call with the VP/Hiring Manager. The recruiter mentioned that a PMP certification would be needed, and I'd have to pay for it myself, before the first interview. The VP interview started right into my resume, which I found a bit odd. After I went through my resume and talked about PM duties, they asked a few questions about why I wanted the job, but nothing too deep. Some questions were a little out there, like asking if I was only interested because the company was close by. The VP spent most of the time talking about the company and the job itself. The call went over the scheduled time and I barely got to talk. I was rejected the next morning, which felt like it happened before the interview even finished. SHPS really needs to up their professionalism. They should know better than to interview someone with an MBA and Fortune 500 experience if they're looking for PMP experience in a micro-market.
- What makes you want to work at SHPS?
- Tell me about your resume.
- Why do you want this role?
Business Process Consultant
Had one casual chat with the manager. Then had two more serious interviews with the VP and the Manager. They asked tons of specific questions about processes and how to make them better.
- Can you detail your specific plans for contributing to this company?
- Precisely, what actions will you take to improve processes within this company?
