First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at CareSpot.
Legal Assistant
I had an HR screening call, then they asked me to come in for an interview. They requested 4 hours of my time, including lunch. I met with the CEO first, which was great. It was a little strange schedule-wise to meet with the hiring manager last, when I was already tired from a half-day of interviews. I figured out pretty quickly from meeting with HR that they wanted to see how I handle difficult people/managers. I found this out definitively when I met with the general counsel. The interview felt very interrogative, like she'd already decided. I think she has unreasonable expectations. They sent a rejection notice within 24 hours. The feeling was mutual. This company is undergoing a lot of changes and has kinks to work out in their joint venture. If you value feeling appreciated and want work/life balance, the legal department here is probably not the place for you.
- Do you need constant praise, or can you handle being busy without it?
Center Manager
This company's hiring process is really inefficient, they seem to waste a lot of money and time. If you don't live in Tennessee, you have to fly there for interviews. They schedule three one-hour interviews back-to-back on the same day, and you have to fly home the same day. After all that, if they decide you're not a fit, they send a generic decline email. You have to pay for all your travel and food expenses upfront, and reimbursement took about a month and a few emails for me. It's a very unprofessional way to do things.
- Can you share an example of a behavioral or situational question you were asked by one of the three executives?
- Were there any behavioral or situational questions focused on team leadership or conflict resolution?
- Did the executives ask about your experience in managing operational processes or ensuring efficiency?
Patient Access Representative
The whole process was 3 parts, and no job offer at the end. Honestly, it felt like a waste of time from the start. Don't get your hopes up for this one. If I could give one piece of advice, it's to not waste your time applying. Also, you might want to dumb down your resume, no degree should be on it. They also don't have a fixed location for the job, so you'll have to travel to different places if they need you there.
- Why do you need this particular job?
- Are you able to be flexible and travel to any location whenever needed, suddenly and at any time?
Medical Assistant
The interview process was really easy and pleasant. The interviewer was nice and positive, and the staff greeted me when I arrived. She was very insightful and made the position and the company look promising. The atmosphere was welcoming and it seems like a great group of people to work with. I'm hoping to get the job.
