First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at CarePoint Health.
Physician Assistant
There were two interviewers. We talked about clinical situations. They asked me what you need to emergently rule out in the ER if these symptoms came in. They were pretty straightforward about what you don't want to miss.
- What would be your course of action if a patient presented with ripping chest pain and low blood pressure?
Data Analyst
The interview process was smooth and straightforward. First, there was a background check to ensure you met the position's expectations. Then, a panel interview assessed your fit for the role. They asked SQL and analytical questions to gauge your skill level. The interviewers were very friendly and engaging.
- Can you explain the different types of SQL joins?
Medical Scribe
The interview was over zoom with two people. One of the doctors seemed occupied by other matters and was very uninvested in the interview. Overall it was a little bit of a mess and unorganized, they also conflicted each other when explaining the procedures and steps to become a scribe.
- What do you know about centura?
- What is a scribe?
- Are you okay with $12 an hour pay (minimum wage), we cannot do any higher than this and are strict on keeping this base pay for at least a year?
Neurosurgery Physician Assistant
I arrived 10mins early but the interview started 20mins late and was rushed. I was the only one masked, and they told me masks were optional. The interviewers seemed disengaged, were on their phones, and acted like it was a burden when I asked questions. They came across as unprofessional and uninterested, wasting everyone's time. I definitely don't want to work there now.
- Can you tell me about a weakness you have?
