First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at CarePayment.
Customer Service Representative
You'll go through a temp agency first, they'll interview you and tell you about jobs they have. After that, there's a second interview at Carepayment. Then, you'll have an interview with the company the temp agency sends you to, and they'll let you know the next day.
- What experience do you bring to this role?
- How do you deal with angry customers?
Product Manager
I submitted my application via LinkedIn and was contacted shortly after via phone and email for an initial phone screen. The recruiter was great and really set clear expectations for the entire process. The next week, I had an interview with the hiring manager. Following that, I met with the rest of the team and interviewed with other senior leaders. It was really cool that everyone had a say in the final decision. Overall, it was a really good experience.
- Can you tell me about your experience working within an Agile delivery framework?
Product Manager
The interview process was really thorough, with interviews from people across different departments and levels. It was great to meet so many people I'd be working with and know that everyone involved in hiring would have a say. Hearing about the role's expectations from so many viewpoints was helpful. The recruiter was clear about the timeline and what to expect.
- What's your approach to managing tasks when faced with competing priorities?
Accountant
I submitted my application online. A recruiter from the company reached out via email, asking a couple of questions. Then, she invited me to schedule a phone interview, which I did. When the scheduled time came, the recruiter was a bit late calling. She was nice and supportive. She finished the interview by saying she'd let me know by Wednesday of that week, one way or another. I never heard back from her. I figure that means they're not moving forward with my application. I really appreciate companies that at least send a standard email to let candidates know they won't be considered, especially when they promise to follow up. If you're too busy for that, then don't say you'll definitely get back to people. It makes me wonder about how you treat your employees and make other decisions.
- Can you share an instance where you missed a deadline? Describe your response, what adjustments you made to prevent recurrence, and your approach to task prioritization.
