You take a test and answer questions via chat with AI, then have a video interview. It was a really easy interview process. I didn't have to wait long to hear back from the company. If you pass, you get to pick your schedule.

I applied on indeed on a Friday, and by Monday got an email to do a typing test and an assessment quiz, plus I had to upload my home internet speed test. After passing those, I got an email about 30min later asking my availability for an interview. I interviewed the next day, Tuesday, and got offered the job right after on the phone. The interview was on zoom and took almost an hour. They asked a lot of scenario questions, like what I'd do if the charting system went down during a call, and how I'd manage meeting call volume requirements. They had me role-play a triage call, asking follow-up questions to a patient scenario without giving advice. After the questions, they discussed scheduling and job expectations like equipment and HIPPA. I wasn't expecting such a long interview, and even though I prepared, I felt like I did badly, but the recruiters were really nice and helped me out when I blanked.

First, I had a call with a recruiter who had me fill out more info and email it back. Then, I got a call for a voice sample. After that, the recruiter set up a phone call where I had to do a quick triage for 3 scenarios. This was followed by another call with the recruiter to set up an official interview. The official interview was pretty basic, and the interviewer was pleased I'd researched the company. Then, I got another email for a phone interview in 2 hours. I prepped, and 10 minutes before, I got an email saying it was on Zoom with a link. I quickly set up my camera and took the call. The interview went really well. We talked about my past work, and she shared a lot about Carenet. She offered me the job right then and there. After I accepted, I started getting onboarding paperwork and had to take a drug test.

After applying online, you get sent a link for an assessment. It starts by asking your state, then a speed test, followed by an adaptive aptitude test with 120 questions answered in 6 seconds each. Then there's a computer and internet literacy test, a typing test, and a personality test. I saw the aptitude test had 3 games with 40 questions each and decided not to continue with this company. It's surprising so many people go through these steps without any guarantee a human will review their application. I'm not wasting my time on this and will look at other companies.
