QA Automation Engineer
I had a really bad interview experience on 20/7/2019. After several calls, they scheduled an interview, but it felt more like a walk-in. I got there at 11 am and gave my resume to HR. Three hours later, we were asked to take a written test. Some people were shortlisted, and others were told to leave. After a lunch break at 3:30 pm, more names were called. They reviewed the written tests and asked those people to leave. About 10 of us remained. An HR person then said our final round was coming up. At 6 pm, they called us again, looked at our written tests, and said they were looking for someone strong in Java. Then, some of us were asked to leave. From 11 am to 6:30 pm, we only took a written test, and nothing else really happened. I read reviews before the interview, and many mentioned similar issues. I wouldn't recommend this interview process to anyone. They should have been clearer in the job description about the Java and other requirements.

Test Automation Engineer
A consultancy reached out to me about openings at Legato for a Test Automation Engineer role. The company's HR sent me a call letter via email, and the interview was scheduled for December 15th. There were two main rounds: the first was technical, and the second was with a Delivery Manager where they asked about my work experience. Finally, there was an HR round for salary negotiation.
- Could you answer some basic Selenium questions?
- What are the differences between Java's Set and List collections, and how are they used in real-time scenarios?
- Do you have knowledge of Appium basics?
Test Automation Engineer
I was contacted by a third party and scheduled for a video call for the first round of interviews. They mentioned a subsequent tech round would be scheduled later. I'm sharing my experience to help others.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- Could you tell me about the frameworks you've utilized?
- Explain your experience with Selenium, specifically regarding locators, waits, and their applications.
