I applied online and then got contacted by the recruiter via email within a week or so. We had a phone interview. It seemed like it went really well and at the end, she asked for my availability so that she could set up an interview with the VP of Wellness. She said that in the meantime, she would send me an email describing the benefits the company offers. After a week, I didn't hear back from her so I emailed. No response. So I called and she didn't answer. It all seemed extremely unprofessional because she made it sound like they wanted to continue the process but then sent me a generic email saying they went with someone else.

The company recruiter emailed me and we set up a call for that week. It was super straightforward! We chatted, and the recruiter said I was a great fit and wanted to set up a chat with the VP of Health and Wellness the next week. She said she'd call me early that week to schedule it. I was so stoked and, naturally, sent a thank you note and waited to hear back. The following week, no call came :-( In the week after that, I emailed to say I was still interested, but still no reply. I waited a few days, then called and left a message asking about the status. No call back. Honestly, at this point, I'm more annoyed about the lack of basic courtesy and professionalism than missing out on the chance to talk to the VP. So frustrating!

This was a LONG (over 3 months) but easy and fair interview process. It started with Zoom calls: first with the recruiter, who was the main point of contact. Then, I spoke with medical directors. After that, I had an in-person interview with representatives from Care Here and the client (the company where the clinic is located). I then had a phone interview followed by an in-person one with the supervising physician. This was to see if the supervising physician (being considered by Care Here and the client) and I would work well as a team. Once the client and supervising physician accepted me, I had to do a drug screen.

We had an hour phone chat with scenario questions like "What would you do if...". Letters of recommendation were really important, and there was also an on-site assessment where they checked my phlebotomy skills. They also asked me to estimate my success rate for IVs and phlebotomy, and asked about past nursing jobs and what happened with the interventions.
