The interview process had four rounds. Round 1 was an OA round with easy MCQs and one Python question. Round 2 focused on DSA and CS fundamentals. Round 3 was a project round. Round 4 was with the Hiring Manager, covering project details and some behavioral questions.

The interview process started with a shortlisting phase. Next, there was a technical interview covering Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA), and basic core subjects. It began with conceptual DSA questions like Array vs Linked List, followed by specific DSA problems such as the Sorted Rotated Array and the N-Queens problem, where I was asked to explain my approach due to time constraints. Then, they asked some basic questions mainly about DBMS and a few from OS, along with questions regarding backend technologies like REST APIs. Finally, there was a combined Technical and Managerial Interview.

The process was pretty quick and easy. First, HR reached out for a basic chat to see if I was a good fit. Based on how that went, the next round was set up. Then, I had a technical interview with the corporate or reporting manager. If I passed that, the final step was meeting with the COO to talk about future plans.

I had a terrible experience with an organization I interviewed with. They did not seem to value my time as a candidate. I was given a 1 PM interview time, and although I arrived 30 minutes early, I ended up waiting for 3 hours until the interview finally started at 3:30 PM. During the interview, the interviewer kept interrupting me and did not allow me to finish answering their questions. They also criticized my answers without considering my perspective. One of the other candidates had a scheduled interview at 12 PM, and he reached the venue at 11 am and waited for 4-5 hours. I am very disappointed with the way they treated candidates. They should have opted for virtual interviews to ensure a smoother and more efficient process.
