Had an intense HR screen, then radio silence for three weeks. A hiring manager interview was scheduled, but it got rescheduled twice. Ultimately, I never spoke with the hiring manager and was then ghosted. I was told it was an internal hire, but they never contacted me again.

I interviewed with Cardinal Health in November 2014. It seemed like a good chance to join their team. I went for the on-site interview and saw some warning signs, but I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. For instance, I got my travel details the day I was supposed to leave. My name was misspelled, and the car was booked for the wrong city. Also, I was on the last flight of the day through Chicago, which wasn't likely to be on time. After talking with the recruiter a lot, they fixed these things and she apologized, saying the travel person was in training. When I got to Columbus late at night, the car company they booked was closed. I had to get another car myself and still haven't been reimbursed, even though I've followed up several times. The biggest problem was the follow-up. I finished the on-site, and the hiring manager said I should expect an offer. I was excited. Two weeks later, the recruiter called, but instead of an offer, she wanted to schedule more phone interviews. On the day of the scheduled interview, no one called. I called the recruiter, and she said they needed to move it by 30 minutes. I waited, but still, no one called. I never actually had those interviews, and nobody explained why, just that schedules were difficult. It felt really disorganized. For the next 2.5 months, I followed up weekly or bi-weekly. The recruiter usually said she'd get back to me by Friday, but she never did. This happened every time. I think how a company communicates and treats candidates shows you what it's like there. I really wanted the job, but something felt off. I did get an offer in February 2015, but I didn't accept it. They never asked for my feedback. I didn't have another offer. I just want to be on a team where I feel valued.

The interview process was quite long and detailed. I had on-site interviews multiple times. Senior Executives were involved. The CIO wants to interview any role that will be reporting to a Vice President. Everyone throughout the process was very friendly and professional, with good follow-up from everyone, including the admin staff, recruiters, and the senior executives themselves.
