Behavioral Presentation

I was interviewed for a role at Cardiff Business School. I got an email saying I was shortlisted and got invited for an onsite interview. The interview was about two and a half weeks after I got the email. It was a 30-minute panel interview with three people, one of whom was my potential line manager. It felt welcoming but professional. They asked questions related to the job description. At the end of the interview on Friday, the chair said a decision would be made that day and I'd get a call on Monday. I got a call on Monday and was told I didn't get the job. I got some general feedback. I asked for more specific feedback and they sent me an email later that day with helpful advice. Even though I didn't get the role, I liked the clear communication and feedback.

First, they checked my LinkedIn profile. Then, I had to fill out an application form, making sure to include evidence of the key skills they were looking for. After that, there was a telephone interview where they asked about my skills. Finally, I had 5 questions about my competencies, and I had to provide examples from past jobs and volunteering to prove I had the skills.
