First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Carbon Health.
Data Analyst
Applied online and got a call in a few weeks from HR. Did an initial phone screening with HR and then moved to the next step. But I have been ghosted multiple times even stating that they already scheduled an interview with me, and I did not show up (I did not get any invites for any interview).
- Regarding salary, what are your expectations?
- Tell me about your previous experience with data analysis.
Clinic Manager
The interviews were pretty chill with the leadership team. They wanted to check my admin skills and my career plans. I had to talk about how I approach problems and deal with urgent stuff. The leadership team wants to see that I can take initiative and bring solutions to them without needing to be told.
- Can you share an instance where you dealt with a challenging customer or patient interaction? What was the outcome?
- Describe your problem-solving approach.
- How do you manage urgent situations?
Benefits Specialist
I want to share my experience interviewing for the Benefits Specialist position. The recruiter was great, but the hiring manager was inflexible. I got a verbal offer and asked for a start date three weeks out to finish my current job commitments. The hiring manager rescinded the offer because she didn't want to wait. I didn't even get a chance to see if a two-week notice would work. It was a bad experience because I was excited about Carbon Health. It's a shame a three-week notice wasn't accepted in this market. I suggest finding a manager who is more flexible.
- Is multi-state/LOA experience a requirement for the Benefits Specialist position?
Practice Manager
A recruiter will get in touch, then you'll have an interview with your potential boss. After that, there will be follow-up interviews with a few of your peers, and then maybe a regional Director. They were interviewing people from both outside and inside the company at the same time, so you could have a great interview but still not get picked if they decide to promote someone who's already here. But if you stick with it, it can pay off!
- What is your experience with Change management?
- Describe your management style.
- How do you handle ambiguity?
